Without further adieu, Xoxide is proud to present you with the Saitek X52 Flight Control System. I watch DVD's, or get online and watch the football (for football, I mean Rugby League, not football as most of the rest of the world knows it).Īnd yes, time and a half, or double time is very nice indeed to do not much. Are you a gamer who demands an authentic feel to your flight simulation? If so, get ready, because we're about to blow your excitement level sky high. Apart from that, I am usually quite bored. Saturday mornings get busy, with innumerable contractors coming to fix things and maintain systems, and the mountains of paperwork we need to fill out. I have a "rover" who performs patrols for me, and investigates whenever we have problems, so I mostly sit on my behind and observe his activities and our CCTV monitors.īasically, I am only needed to be there so that I can call the building engineers if the place catches on fire or blows up. It sounds a lot, but after hours, we only need to keep a close eye on the Building Management Control System, which ensures air-conditioning, elevators and escalators, chillers, cooling towers, uninterruptable power supplies, emergency generators etc etc etc are running properly. I work as a supervisor performing Corporate Security for a large chunk of real estate incorporating about 10 boutique shops, 15 restaurants, 7 bars, the headquarters for a major bank (24 floors) and a 5-star hotel (32 floors). Perhaps I will buy a new joystick (upgrade to Pro maybe) but that seems a bit extreme (I really want this sim to be fully immersive so I am going to extremes anyway).īlade_meister, thank you for your kind offer, I will PM you and send you my email address so that you can send me your preferred button mapping assignments. I'm glad that the sim allows you to map joystick buttons, hopefully I can work with that to begin. Well, I'll keep looking, and hope someone here can find their software CD and help me out, or maybe I can locate my CD. In any rate, I might not be all that disadvantaged, as I have a Logitech G19 gaming keyboard, which has three modes with 12 programmable keys in each, and allows me to record "macros" so that it shouldn't be too bad, but…I'll have to take my eyes off the screen and hand off the throttle or joystick to access the keyboard. The problem is that I cannot check that all my buttons work or the full range of motion of my joystick is available. So far, I believe the drivers for the X52 PRO might make my joystick work, but I cannot map any buttons, which as Blade_meister explained is VERY useful. I have been successful finding the drivers and software for my rudder pedals (which provides you a feedback curve to test the full range of movement and allows you to set "deadspots" if desired). It is unfortunate that I have not been able to locate the software for the X52 (either online or sorting through my mountains of accumulated "stuff" to find the original CD). I really appreciate your informative replies.
